Download the iOS app from the app store (https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/superscout-film-tv-locations/id6743645144)
This is a walk through of using the iOS app for the first time and gives you an overview of how the app can be used.
The iOS apps purpose is to provide a quick way for you to create locations, take images of that location, make notes about an image and upload them to your account on SuperScout.
Please note it is not a replacement of view of the current web site please use your web browser to access the SuperScout site and make changes to your service and locations.
First run. Below are a series of screen shots there is also a walk through video if you prefer. To view the walk through video click here.

Press start scouting

To fully use the app please allow SuperScout to use your location when using the app, we use you location to allow us to automatically set the location to your current location when out scouting locations.

The home page allows you to do a number of things, from top left:
- This allows you to log into your SuperScout account
- Brings up the help screen
- Starts the camera app
- Creates a new location
In the center of the screen are quick access buttons to:
- Create a new location.
- Take a photo with the camera app.
Create a new location:

Creates a new location using the GPS data of your current location.
You can then add photos from the camera direct or from your photo library, in which case the first image from your library will be used to set the location (This workflow can be seen at the bottom of this page).

If you select Camera

Please allow access to the camera to enable the app to act as the camera app.
Take some photos. When you take the first photo you will be asked if we can access your Photo Library

if you Allow Full Access we will save all images into the photo library in an Album called SuperScout so that you have a backup of all images taken while using the SuperScout iOS application.
If you Don't Allow access then photos will only be in the SuperScout app and there will be no backup.
Take the photos of the location and you see the details in the Location view.

Use the < back button to return you to the Home screen or use the Select to manage (delete) photos from the Location screen.

You can also add images using the [o] Camera icon which takes images directly with the Camera. When you do so this it will create additional "Locations" automatically which you can keep as separate locations or Merge together once you have finished taking images. Touch on "Merge Locations" when you have more than one location to allow you to merge locations together.

Select the locations you wish to merge then select merge to and scroll to the main location you want to use and then click to merge all the items together.

The top left hand icon allows you to log into your SuperScout account. When you click on it please login with your account details.

When you login you will then see a list of Workspaces if you have more than one. Otherwise you will see your account data.

once you are logged into your account you can upload your locations (images) into your SuperScout account. If you are not on WiFi you will be reminded if you want to upload on Cellular/Mobile data or wait until you have WiFi.

If you upload the images you will see the counters update and the images uploaded into the SuperScout web site.

If SuperScout stops uploading for any reason and you have to continue you will see the cloud icon showing you need to continue the upload process.

Once fully uploaded you will see the location greyed out and the data is now safely on the SuperScout web site. You can remove (delete) from the iOS app if you wish (this does NOT effect the SuperScout web site its just an archiving of the data from the iOS app to make it easier to manage new locations).

If you were to go to your SuperScout account on the web and log in via your web browser you will see all 18 images are in the account as expected.

As you can see all 18 photos are uploaded and the SuperScout tagging process is still ongoing in this location.
Loading photos from the Photo Library
if you select images from the photo library then, if you have not edited the location, the location from the first image is used as the location to add to the system.

Please note that if you have edited the location before adding the images from the Photo Library the system will NOT use the GPS location from the image, if there is no GPS data in the image it will also not be used.

When you are in your iOS Photo Library you can search for images as you can normally in the Photo Library making it easy in this case to find photos of "Notre-Dame" or use the other iOS ways of searching for images.
